Shadows, and flowerings, and Frost Faeries... :-)

 ~Shadow~
I'm fascinated by shadows made by lace.  When I notice them, I have to take a photo.

~Shadow of lace curtain, on refrigerator~
And then, of course, I have to post them.

 ~Pretty little walking bridge~
Just a little walking bridge, over a little stream, on the across-the-street college campus.  It could do-the-job, even if it was a very simple bridge.  But instead, they chose to make it a thing of beauty.

Something like this, can raise your spirits, almost without your even noticing.  An example of a lovely way to "do things."  With beauty, if possible...

~Fallen Cosmos, seem to be floating...~
Another thing which makes me happy, every time I notice them...  One stalk of our "majestic" group of Cosmos, have fallen over...  Perhaps in a rain storm.

So now, they look as if they are floating........

On the grass.....

I love it......

 ~More fallen Cosmos...~
More fell toward the little pond-bird-bath-fountain.  They are kind of floating too.  And mingling with the still blossoming Petunias.

~And yet more...~
It's like none of them, will quit!  They just keep sharing their beauty and love-of-living.  Even though, they must know, in their little cells, that a killing frost will be coming.

Perhaps it's because they know this, that they continue to blossom and live and spread beauty.

What a lovely thought....

Even though "The Frost Faeries" are coming......

Love all your photo's, Yes, the frost fairies are coming and maybe by this weekend. The temperature is suppose to be around 39 degrees here, that is cold in my neck of the woods. I feel a chill.

Love the shots of the cosmos, and really like your pond & bird bath! Such surprising bursts of colour for fall. I think we may have had a touch of frost last night as my morning glories stopped blooming ... in one day ... from hundreds of blue blossoms, to not one.

I love cosmos and all the fun colors they come in! I love your photos as well... reminded me that I still have a couple of things blooming in my garden... I guess now I'll have to go out and capture them on film (so to speak) and post them of course :D Hugs my sweet friend!
