I guarantee you will have happy tears in your eyes, when you do!!!!!!!

Candle, on kitchen island...

Looking at doorway, from den, into front room...
Over kitchen table, into hearth room wall...
Looking at door, from kitchen, into den...
Den window, looking at evening star...

A very varied post... ,-)

Thursday dawned rainy here.  But this was the beautiful southern  view of the sky, the other early-evening.

I need to look up the name of that beautiful Evening Star...  Which appears below, and to the left of the waxing Moon....  ~~~  There is a "reflection" of the Moon, a little bit above it...  Because I had to take these pictures, through a Den window.  :-)

-Various shadows-

To carry on my Books-Library-Book-StoreTheme of the other day...  :-)  How is this for a quirky doorway, in a quaint Book Store????  Wish I knew where it is located.  I found it in this blog post, but click-able source link below it, didn't work.  -pout-

And since I'm on a kinda' silly kick here, in this post, I leave you with an early Christmas decorating suggestion!!!  I've seen a lot of different Christmas trees, but this one is really different.  -gigggggles-

Autumn... "In a bottle".... ,-)

Beautiful berries...

A good-sized-rock, at the beginning of a path...

Colors of Autumn...

A tree stump, along the path...  Scattered with fallen leaves and pine needles.  I've heard-tell those pine needles make lovely mulch for plants, over winter.  They look warm-and-cozy, just to view pine needles, don't they?  :-)

Gorgeous...  But why so many, still on the tree?  Are they poisonous, I wonder?

Crystal clear sky...

Wild progression of color changes, on one scrub bush...

Vine variations...

Husband, going out for papers, reports frost on the car.  Seems the Frost Faeries, managed that much.  :-)  But  the flowers have not really been painted with silver sparkles, yet...

Yet!

This and that, and the other thing... :-)))

Toy Dump Truck, my husband made, for a silent auction.  For the annual Rotary Scholarship Foundation Brunch.  All made from pieces of various woods, he had left over, from previous wood working projects.

What a Full Harvest Moon we had, hu???????  :-)

I've been doing less Cozy Mystery book reading...  And more books on nutrition and How To Eat And Live.  These above, are a couple of them.

But my favorite is "The French Don't Diet Plan."  Basically it says to:

*Eat real food.

*Do not eat processed foods.

*Take time to enjoy your meals, so you won't overeat.

*Have a glass of wine.

*Stay active.

*Slow our hectic American lifestyle down enough, to enjoy your life.

:-)

Examples of real food.  Organic fruit.  Real cream.  (See, no long table of contents on any of those things...)

Home made Eggplant Parm.

Whatcha' think...????????????

Dramatic sky show, tonight...

"A planetary meet-up will create a potentially dazzling celestial display this evening (Sept. 8), a cosmic show involving the two brightest objects in the nighttime sky: Venus and the moon."

Please click here, and read/see about it.

It sounds as if it will be lovely, to view...

Waxing moon...

The waxing Moon, seen through the banches/leaves of the Old Oak Tree.  By Monday (7-22) it will be the Full Thunder Moon.
~~~
Today is the Open Day of the 150th Ann. of the Race Track.  The weather is forecast to be rather awful.  Hot, humid, possible thunderstorm, etc.
~~~
It would be fun to do downstreet this evening, for the Opening Celebrations on Broadway...  But!!!  I doubt it.  Due to weather conditions.
