Do you sometimes, get a "feeling"...?

But it's a lazy snow, that's falling this morning (Wed.).  The kind of snow, that you hardly notice, against the grayness and snowy-cover of the early day.  Then, it's pace seems to pick up.  No longer do the flakes seem to fall in slow motion.  Now, they have work to do!  Laying another blanket on the cold earth.

This package!  It took me 15 minutes to wrap.  Too long, of course.  Why this long?  Because I was trying to wrap it so skilfully, to save paper.  Hahhhhh....

Did you ever get "a feeling"?  That you should look into something, perhaps?  The other night, I got the "feeling" that I should visit a blog, which I have followed, off and on, for years and years.  I visited and found that there were bits-and-pieces of 'different.'  So glad I listened to, and followed that "feeling."

So, that's our weather forecast for Sat. night.  Looks like the Snow Faeries will really be active tonight.  :-))

Our Christmas parties duties are over now.  We only had 2 actually.  We were never in the *Social Circuit,*  even when younger.  Now it's just a work party and a Rotary Club party, to attend.

I didn't feel like making a lattice top...  So I took a champagne glass and cut out some holes, in top crust.  -giggles-  Ho, ho, ho...

This time we did get some snow.  And now, some sort of precipitation is falling.

I changed my Header pic, over the weekend.  I'm growing to love this choice, now.  :-)  Of course, I usually "love" whatever Header pic, I have up.  For a while, anyway.

This picture seems to be of a store window exhibit...  With little "dolls" placed about.  The window and tree size, are rather super-sized.  And this effect, is charming.

But...

You know what ISN'T charming?  

In all the illustrations of old fashioned family gatherings, the rich are enjoying themselves.  And the "downstairs" people, are serving them.  After a while, I notice this.  And the reality of it, is ......  not-so-nice.

If the serving class was being well paid, then that would be a different matter.  But it wasn't so, in these lovely old fashioned times, we see illustrated...

Searching again, for blogs which love/display magical thinking and whimsey and faeries, etc.  Really the only one I have found, which balances out all these things...  Is Cielo's.  I first found her "The House In The Roses" blog, and loved it.  She has moved and now writes in "The Here And Now" blog.

 Her way of blogging is the best example, of this.  And hers, seems to be about the only example of what I love.  -sigh-  Am I the only one, who just loves her blog(s)? 

No, because people comment in her blogs.  But does anyone else, want to write/picture a blog, in a (somewhat) similar way?

Yes, I do.  But I'm not nearly so talented.    I try.  Without anywhere near her success.  But, I do try.

Are there others out there, like me?  Who love these aspects of blogging?  And if so, why haven't I found them?

 Are there any others, who would love to even try, but don't?

I didn't know how to size one of my pictures, to make it the proper size, for a full Blogger Background.  She offered to size a pic, for me.  And it works!!!!!   

Now, I really have to find an Ap, which will work on my iMac, with which I will be able to do this magic, myself.  

This is exciting!  I have wanted to be able to do this (my pic as a full Background) for a long time.  This is the first time, it has been possible.  Wheeeeeee.......

Finding a *perfect-now*, Blog Look... :-)))

I'm not really happy-happy, with my present blog look...  The little flowered fabric pic, which I made into a Background...  And the bare Apple Pie.  Plus the candle and autumnal leaves decorations...

The fabric picture was much prettier, when I found it...  Than it is, as a Background.  -Harrumph-  It was.  It really was.  -sigh-

And I'm not happy with my Side Bar either...
 

I need my blog look, to jump out at me and make me very, very happy.....  When I look in at my blog.  I'm funny that way.  ,-)

 Well, I'll just have to poke around, and find a "look" I really like, and make/use it. I'd better hurry up though...  Wednesday I have to have an old cracked tooth removed.  I don't think I'll care much, what my blog looks like, the rest of that day.  -grin-
